*Improving the robustness of brain-computer interfaces for real-world applications, including artifact removal for electroencephalogram (EEG), signal processing, affective computing, and machine learning.

*Implemented algorithms for analyzing eye movements in virtual reality.

* EEG preprocessing/analysis with EEGLAB/MATLAB and Python exploration for the Art + Empathy project.

* The ability of VR to create new interactive and immersive experiences.

* Developed and calibrated the difficulty of the 3D bullet rooms to induce stress through time and bullet difficulty.
* Redesigned the Insight website and tested it with researchers to better showcase the projects of the Insight lab.

My Research Interests
* Opening up discussion in testing new ways of immersion, user experience, and human cognition in virtual reality.

My Roles
* Prepared the room concept, plans, modeling, texturing assets, lighting, and basic functionality for 3 escape room puzzles and environments to test VR, EEG, and eye-tracking.
* Planned and tested each escape room in order to ensure that each room is as close to the similar difficulty.

* Shaping the presence and embodiment in Augmented, Virtual, and Mixed Reality, with a special focus on how to build understanding of systems relationships between digital information and the biologically tethered self.

* Lead the XRNOC research group collaboration between the Calit2 Defanti Lab and Arthur C. Clarke Center for Human Imaginations at UC San Diego.
